Installation Instructions

Some helpful tips when using our findings 8000 and 8500 Model Cufflink Findings:

Our cufflink findings are cast in two parts and fitted with an 18kt spring hard white gold spring. The pivot pin is installed temporarily and should be removed with the spring before any soldering operations are done to attach the base to your work. When we use these findings in our shop, we use a laser to fuse the pin ends during final assembly after the base has been attached to the cufflink ornament. If a laser is not available, the pins can be riveted or the ends balled with a torch (take care not to overheat the spring if a torch is used).
